Keeping you safe during the pandemic

Your safety is very important to us and we are carefully following the latest advice from the Government and The Church of England.

Here's what to expect when visiting us in person:

Face coverings/masks

Face coverings are no longer mandatory in church, however government advice is that they are recommended in enclosed or crowded places. We would ask that whatever you personally choose to do, that you please be aware of the different views of others and show respect and grace at all times. Thank you.

Social Distancing
Please be mindful and respectful of one another. Some people still wish to remain distanced and may be anxious about coming into close proximity with others. We continue to have a little more space in between the rows in church than usual, to allow for social distancing. We suggest putting your coat or bag on the chair next to you, if you do not wish someone to sit there.

Communion
At this time, we continue to serve communion in one kind (wafer). We have a gluten free option available - just let us know when you come up. During the distribution of communion, the distributing clergy will wear a face covering. Please sanitise your hands before receiving communion, then wait until you reach your seat before consuming the wafer. We have hand sanitiser available in church, or please feel free to use your own.

Symptoms
We would ask that you please do not attend church If you feel unwell, are exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms or have recently tested positive for Covid-19.
