Children & youth on Sundays
It's really important to us at St George & St Paul's that everyone feels safe within our community in every way. All our children's and youth team volunteers are DBS checked and have received safeguarding training. Find out more here.
At our 10.45 Sunday morning services at St Paul's Church we have various groups for the children & youth where they will find leaders who are passionate about communicating God’s love in a fun and exciting way using whatever means (and mess!) they can. We use a variety of activities and methods to teach God's word, about how much He loves them and we encourage them to connect the stories with personal experience. These groups take place in the church rooms across the road, and we always bring the children & youth back across to the church before the service has ended (and in time for communion on the 1st Sunday of the month). On the 3rd Sunday of the month, we all worship together for the whole service.
Children in years reception/foundation to Year 6 are invited to join us for a morning of eXploration and fun every 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday of the month.
(In Yrs 7-11) stay in church on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday.
Activities in the church rooms on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Babies & toddlers
Please don't worry about noise! Changing facilities are available and you are welcome to feed your baby wherever you feel comfortable. During the 10:45 service (apart from the 3rd Sunday of the month) there is a crèche at the back of church where you are welcome to leave your little ones with our safer recruited volunteers
Throughout the summer and other school holidays:
During the school holidays our children's and youth leaders take a well deserved break whilst we all worship together in church. This Summer our puppets team are helping us go 'Back to the Bible' Marty McFly style!
