Churchwardens & PCC
Churchwardens are lay officers responsible for the life and work of the church in the parish. There are four Churchwardens in total, as we have 2 church buildings each building gets two wardens, they do a wonderful job of keeping everything in order.

Parochial Church Council (PCC)
The PCC is the governing body of the parish church and is a registered charity. It is a team made up of the clergy and elected lay members of the church.
The PCC are responsible for the overall wellbeing - practical as well as spiritual, of their church, the church members - and the church buildings. The PCC also has a duty to promote the mission of the church within the wider community.
We are now one Parish, (St George’s and St Paul’s Tiverton)The PCC oversees aspects covering the whole parish and the many buildings too. They meet together jointly about six times a year, with a Standing Committee meeting prior to determine the Agenda for the next PCC meeting.
