Children on Sundays
It's really important to us at St George & St Paul's that everyone feels safe within our community in every way. Find out more here.
At our 10.45 Sunday morning services at St George & St Paul we have various groups for the children where they will find leaders who are passionate about communicating God’s love in a fun and exciting way using whatever means (and mess!) they can. We do not run our children's groups at our All Age Worship Service (more details here). These usually happen on the third Sunday of the month.
Babies & Toddlers
If you have a baby we want you and your child to be comfortable. We do not expect total silence during our services so please don't worry if your little one makes some noise! If your child is under 3 they can go into the little room at the back of church - and be left if they are happy (all our leaders have been safely recruited). Baby changing facilities are available and you are welcome to feed your baby wherever you feel comfortable, but if you need somewhere a bit quieter you are welcome to use the vestry.
We use a variety of activities and methods to teach the children God's word and how much He loves them and encourage them to connect the stories with personal experience. These groups take place in the church rooms, and we always bring the children back across to the church before the service has ended and in time for communion on those Sundays.
